Industrial Electric Valve

The electric ball valve is a type of valve where the valve disc rotates around the axis of the valve stem. It mainly consists of two parts: an electric actuator and a ball valve. The electric actuator is responsible for receiving control signals and driving the motor to rotate, while the ball valve part includes components such as the valve body, ball, valve seat, and valve stem. The valve body serves as the outer casing of the ball valve, with an internal passage for fluid flow; the ball is the opening and closing component of the valve, which rotates 90 degrees to connect, cut off, or regulate fluid flow; the valve seat acts as a sealing gasket for the ball, ensuring no fluid leakage when the valve is closed.

Application Fields of Industrial Electric Valve

  • Environmental Protection and Water Treatment

Water Treatment Engineering:

Municipal Water Supply: Pipeline pressure balancing, rapid cut-off in case of water quality abnormalities.

Sewage Treatment: Air flow control in aeration tanks, sludge treatment.

Seawater Desalination: Medium switching in reverse osmosis systems, with chloride ion corrosion resistance (using duplex stainless steel).

Environmental Protection Systems: Chemical wastewater treatment, precise regulation of chemical dosing.

  • Chemical Industry and New Materials

Fine Chemicals: Raw material proportioning for reaction kettles, transportation of strong acid/alkali media (such as sulfuric acid, liquid ammonia), relying on corrosion-resistant materials (such as Hastelloy, PTFE lining).

New Materials Production: Semiconductor: Ultrapure Water (UPW) systems, etching solution control in wet processes, requiring zero metal ion precipitation. New Energy Materials: Photovoltaic silicon wafer cleaning, high-pressure valves for hydrogen storage and transportation (withstand 70MPa).

  • Food, Pharmaceutical, and Civil Fields

Food and Beverage: Flow control in filling lines, CIP cleaning systems, requiring sanitary design (complying with FDA, EHEDG certifications).

Pharmaceutical Industry: Medium transportation in sterile environments, Water for Injection (WFI) systems, emphasizing dead-leg-free structure.

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC): Temperature control and energy optimization in building HVAC systems.

  • Special Scenario Applications

Vacuum Systems: Gas flow control in semiconductor manufacturing and scientific research equipment, adopting metal seals to prevent leakage.

High-Purity Media: PVDF ball valves used for transportation of electronic-grade chemicals to avoid contamination.

Extreme Working Conditions: LNG and liquid hydrogen valves resistant to -196℃ cryogenic temperatures, and coal chemical valves designed to resist particle erosion.

Working Principle and Key Features of Industrial Electric Valve

  • Working Principle:

The electric valve is composed of an electric actuator and a valve. It uses electrical energy to drive the valve to open/close or adjust the valve position. The actuator receives a control signal (such as a 4-20mA current signal), converts it into mechanical displacement, and drives the valve to act. The regulating-type electric valve can continuously adjust the valve position, while the on-off type realizes full opening/full closing control.

  • Key Features:

Precise Control: Can achieve precise regulation of parameters such as flow and pressure through standard signals (e.g., 4-20mA).

Wide Application Range: Suitable for automatic control of media such as liquids and gases, especially for large-diameter pipelines and scenarios requiring continuous regulation.

High Reliability: Electric actuators usually have a servo function, which can stably respond to control signals and feed back the valve position status.

Convenient Maintenance: The structure is relatively simple, and the separate design of the actuator and valve facilitates maintenance.
