Membrane separation sets are large mechanical equipment with the physical sieving characteristics of membrane materials as the core. They realize selective separation or concentration of materials through cross-flow processes, and their separation efficiency and precision are significantly higher than traditional filtration methods.
The working principle of UF set is to use pressure-driven membrane separation technology. It uses UF membranes with a pore size of 0.001-0.02μm to selectively intercept macromolecular substances (such as colloids, bacteria, organics), while allowing water and small molecular solutes to pass through, realizing the purification, separation, or concentration of solutions.
1. Daily inspection and cleaning
Regularly check the operating status of the equipment to ensure no leakage, normal flow, and stable operation. Keep the equipment surface clean, remove dirt and dust to ensure good operation.
2. Motor and electrical inspection
Check whether the motor and electrical equipment are working normally, and replace bearings or adjust the motor belt tension if necessary.
3. Filter cartridge and O-ring replacement
Replace filter cartridges and O-rings regularly according to usage to prevent leakage and ensure efficient operation.
4. Backwashing operation
Perform backwashing at the end of each operation cycle or as needed to remove sediments on the membrane surface. The backwashing flow rate is slightly faster than the normal filtration rate, lasting 10-30 minutes.
5. Chemical cleaning
Perform chemical cleaning regularly according to the degree of membrane pollution. Use acidic, alkaline, or enzymatic cleaning agents to remove inorganic scale, organics, and biofilms.
6. Protective solution maintenance
Membrane modules that are out of service for a long time need to be injected with protective solution to prevent drying. If out of service for more than 6 months, the protective solution must be replaced.
7. Water pressure and sensor inspection
Regularly detect the system water pressure to ensure that sensors and valves work normally and ensure operation stability.
8. Record and management
Record operating data, maintenance operations, and replacement situations in detail to facilitate evaluating performance attenuation and guiding future maintenance plans.
